Call.fast provides an AI phone agent for Shopify stores. This policy explains what data we process, why, and your rights.
Data we process
- Merchant data: your shop domain, store name, and the settings you configure (agent name, voice, greeting, escalation contact details).
- Store content: public pages of your storefront (policies, FAQs, product guidance) crawled to build your agent's knowledge base.
- Shopify data: order, product, and customer records accessed live via the Shopify API during a call to answer the caller's question. This data is fetched on demand and not stored by Call.fast beyond the call transcript.
- Call data: caller phone number, call transcript, an AI-generated summary, call duration, and resolution status.
How calls are handled
Calls are answered by an AI assistant, and the agent discloses that it is an AI. Call audio is processed in real time to generate responses and a transcript; we do not retain audio recordings. Transcripts are stored so the merchant can review their calls.
Service providers
We use the following subprocessors to deliver the service: Twilio (telephony), xAI (speech and language AI), Firecrawl (website crawling), Resend (email notifications), and Shopify (platform and billing). Each receives only the data needed for its function.
Retention and deletion
Call records are retained for no longer than 90 days and are deleted automatically on a daily schedule. When you uninstall Call.fast, your agent's phone number is released immediately and all stored data for your shop is deleted within 48 hours via Shopify's data-erasure process. Customer data deletion requests made through Shopify (GDPR/CCPA) are honoured automatically.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data at any time. Customers of merchants should direct requests to the merchant, who can action them through Shopify.
